Today, as part of our 21-Day Gratitude Challenge, the prompt invites us to reflect on:
What negative thought can we reframe into gratitude?
And for me, this one went deeper than I expected.
On Thursday, I began the Life in the Spirit Seminar.
The last time I experienced this was in 2017 – a moment that changed my life. It was during that time I received clarity on my mission… a calling to help others get free and live with intention.
But if I’m honest, returning this week came with a quiet fear. A thought I didn’t say out loud, but felt deeply:
“What if I hear something again that I don’t have the capacity for?”
Because sometimes, it’s not just the work that feels overwhelming… It’s the weight of the calling.
The responsibility.
The possibility that more may be required of you.
And this week had its moments. There were so many tasks. Many responsibilities and moments where I felt stretched.
But in the middle of it all, I did something simple:
I paused.
I wrote things down.
I took it one step at a time.
And I got it done.
And that’s where the reframe exists:
“I have been entrusted with this because I have the capacity to handle it.”
Scripture Reminds Us
In Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Not all things at once.
Not all things perfectly.
But all things –through Him, with Him, and step by step.
So today, I am choosing gratitude. Not just for the outcomes… but for the capacity.
Grateful that I can:
- pause and reset
- think things through
- take one step at a time
- and trust that I am equipped for what I’ve been called to do
Reflection
What thought has been telling you that something is “too much”?
What would it look like to reframe that thought into gratitude?
And can you trust that if it has been placed in your hands…
you have been given the capacity to carry it?
One step at a time.
One task at a time.
One faithful “yes” at a time.
Until next Saturday!
Love, Talisha

The Shunammite woman was celebrated by the Rabbis for her generosity and righteousness. She was even give a son after many years of trying. However, after grown he died and Elijah servant didn’t have the capacity to save him. Elijah, However had to stretch his entire body over the young man to get the work done. Just like Jesus on the cross he was stretch to get the final work done…when you stretch you know you are getting the work done because he is inside of you. His process is stretching.
Embrace the stretching, capacity is building.
This is a beautiful reframe Etlyne! I will keep this close to my heart.

You have the capacity and this is why you have been tasked with the responsibility. God qualifies the called. There’s provision for the vision! Go forth with Grace. He has equipped you!!
Amen!
